The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Normal, IL, is dedicated to cultivating a resilient and equitable food system through education and advocacy. Our mission is to empower passionate individuals as they become leaders in food justice, sustainability, and community well-being. Participants receive comprehensive training at our Allegheny Farm Campus, delving into organic farming practices, ecological literacy, and community food initiatives. The Fellowship ensures that education is accessible by not charging tuition, allowing a diverse group of Fellows to focus on impactful projects such as growing and distributing healthy, diversified crops, maintaining community gardens, and supporting farmers markets. After an immersive six-month residential experience, Fellows engage in a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profits to directly apply their skills and knowledge. We invite you to explore this transformative opportunity and join us in building a just food system that serves all.
