Producemobile, operated by Interfaith Action of Evanston, is dedicated to providing vital food assistance in Niles, IL, with a focus on distributing 15-25 pounds of fresh produce per person every month, alongside essential household cleaning and personal hygiene items. Our program aims to alleviate food insecurity by ensuring access to nutritious food for those in need, prioritizing the well-being of our community. Distribution occurs on the second Tuesday of each month from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM through a walk-up line where guests are encouraged to bring wheeled carts or sturdy bags for their items. During the ongoing pandemic, all waiting and distribution areas are safely managed outdoors; masks are required, and we provide accessible bathrooms and seating for our guests. Join us in making a difference in our community by receiving the support you need at the Robert Crown Center, where abundant free parking is available, and local transit options like Bus #93 can conveniently get you here.
