Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Naperville, IL, is dedicated to empowering individuals through comprehensive training in sustainable food systems that prioritize social, environmental, and economic justice. The program offers a unique opportunity for selected Fellows to engage in six months of hands-on, experiential learning at Allegheny Farm in Virginia, followed by a transformative Community Action Year where they apply their knowledge in collaboration with regional non-profit organizations. With no tuition fees, we ensure accessibility for those passionate about advocating for healthier food systems. Our Fellowship provides education on organic farming, food literacy, and community engagement, encouraging participants to grow diversified crops, maintain community gardens, support farmers markets, and innovate health care education.
