Health Education in Mundelein, IL is dedicated to empowering immigrants and their families in Lake County with vital knowledge to promote healthier living. Our program covers essential health topics such as nutrition, diabetes management, high blood pressure, cholesterol, women's health, cancer awareness, depression, and dental care. We offer large group seminars in Spanish four times a year, providing a welcoming environment where childcare is available, allowing children to engage in health-related lessons. In addition, we conduct small group presentations, or charlas, led by trained Community Health Educators, directly in homes or community spaces, tailored to the needs and preferences of the participants. Our mission is to bring healthcare directly to the community through health fairs and mobile clinics, ensuring everyone has access to critical health information and resources.
