Financial Assistance Funds

Based in Mundelein, IL, Financial Assistance Funds is dedicated to supporting families with children who have special health care needs. Our mission is to alleviate the financial burden often associated with medical care by providing essential financial assistance, which can be utilized for a variety of costs including medical expenses like prescriptions and medical equipment, as well as non-medical needs such as clothing, home modifications, and urgent daily living expenses like food and utilities. Additionally, we assist with healthcare-related travel costs to ensure families can access necessary medical services. Grants of up to $500 per family, per year are available, with requests processed according to the order received. We understand the urgency of these needs, and strive to provide timely support, usually within 15 business days after application. We are here to help ease the challenges faced by families during difficult times, ensuring that no family has to navigate these hurdles alone.
