Youth HYPE Housing Program

At Northwest Compass, we believe that everyone deserves a secure place to call home. Our Youth HYPE Housing Program, based in Mount Prospect, IL, is dedicated to empowering individuals aged 18-24 who are facing homelessness or housing instability. We offer a comprehensive support system that includes a Walk-In Entry Point Center to connect clients with vital resources, along with education and advocacy for residents confronting eviction, foreclosure, or homelessness in the Northwest Suburbs of Cook County. Our services include limited financial assistance for homeless prevention, Money Management counseling, and Career Coaching aimed at enhancing job readiness. Additionally, we provide essential help with the SNAP and Medicaid application processes, and our monthly food pantry serves all local residents in need. By treating every client with respect and compassion, our dedicated staff strives to transform crises into opportunities, ensuring that support is available free of charge to all in our community. We warmly welcome donations to our food pantry, as together, we can foster a stronger, more supportive neighborhood.
