Youth HYPE Housing Program

Northwest Compass’ Youth HYPE Housing Program in Mount Prospect, IL, is dedicated to ensuring that everyone has a place to call home. Our mission is to empower young adults aged 18-24 by providing them with essential resources and guidance to navigate their housing situations effectively. We offer a Walk-In Entry Point Center, collaborating with The Alliance to End Homelessness in Suburban Cook County, where individuals can access critical assistance and connections to various resources. Our services include limited financial assistance for homeless prevention, education and advocacy for those facing eviction or foreclosure, and comprehensive support for money management and career coaching. Additionally, we operate a food pantry available on a monthly basis to all residents, and assist with SNAP and Medicaid applications. At Northwest Compass, we believe that during times of crisis, compassion and respect are paramount. Our skilled staff work tirelessly to help individuals transform challenging situations into opportunities for stability and growth, all at no cost to our residents. We invite community members to join us in our efforts, as food donations are always appreciated.
