MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Moline, IL, is dedicated to empowering Veterans to lead healthier lives through comprehensive weight management and health promotion initiatives. Our mission is to annually screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, providing personalized referrals to a variety of weight management services tailored to individual needs and preferences. We offer supportive group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program, which allows for in-home messaging and clinician contact. For those who prefer self-management, the MOVE! Coach mobile app provides essential tools and guidance. Additionally, we facilitate access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing ongoing challenges with weight-related issues.
