Youth HYPE Housing Program

At Northwest Compass’ Youth HYPE Housing Program in Melrose Park, IL, we believe that everyone deserves a safe and supportive place to call home. Our mission is to empower young adults aged 18-24 who are facing homelessness to actively manage their housing situations and pursue positive outcomes tailored to their specific needs. We provide vital services, including a Walk-In Entry Point Center that connects individuals to essential resources, limited financial assistance to prevent homelessness, and education on eviction and foreclosure prevention for residents in the Northwest Suburbs of Cook County. Our dedicated team offers Money Management counseling, career coaching, and SNAP and Medicaid application assistance, ensuring comprehensive support for our clients. To further assist our community, we offer a monthly food pantry open to all residents, with registration required.
