Youth HYPE Housing Program

At Youth HYPE Housing Program in Melrose Park, IL, we believe that everyone deserves a place to call home. Our mission is to empower young adults aged 18-24 experiencing homelessness by providing them with essential resources and support to navigate their housing situations. As part of Northwest Compass, we offer a Walk-In Entry Point Center that connects individuals to vital services through our collaboration with The Alliance to End Homelessness in Suburban Cook County. Our program includes limited financial assistance to prevent homelessness, education on money management, career coaching to enhance job readiness, and advocacy for residents facing eviction or foreclosure. We also assist with SNAP and Medicaid applications and operate a food pantry accessible to all residents monthly, with registration required. Our compassionate staff is dedicated to treating all individuals with respect and dignity, helping to transform crises into opportunities for a brighter future. We encourage food donations to support our pantry and continue providing these essential services at no cost to our community.
