The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program in Lombard, IL, is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children in DuPage County. Our mission is to provide vital food assistance, nutrition education, and breastfeeding support at no cost to eligible families. Through our comprehensive services, we offer access to breastfeeding counseling, free breast pumps, and personalized nutrition counseling, ensuring that mothers and their children receive the care they need. Our Family Case Managers collaborate with public health nurses to conduct free health screenings and provide essential referrals for medical care and vaccinations. At WIC, we are committed to empowering families with the resources they need to thrive, nurturing a healthier community one family at a time.
