Karen Woodnorth

Karen Woodnorth is a dedicated counselor, LCPC, CADC, and NCC who passionately works with individuals and families, helping them establish hope, experience healing, and facilitate growth. With a robust background that includes working with adolescents and families in both residential and outpatient dual diagnosis hospital settings, as well as serving as the Director of Intake at an adult outpatient dual diagnosis treatment facility, she brings over 15 years of private practice experience to the table. Karen is adept at guiding clients towards positive outcomes, underscoring that hope, growth, and change are always possible. Regardless of the complexities of personal or relational issues, she stands by her clients throughout their journey of transformation, offering individualized and compassionate treatment. Karen's expertise spans a wide range of issues, employing various methods including cognitive-behavioral therapy, family systems dynamics, trauma and grief support, substance abuse recovery, codependency, and addressing mood and anxiety disorders.
