Youth HYPE Housing Program

At Youth HYPE Housing Program in Lansing, IL, we believe that everyone deserves a place to call home. Our mission is to empower young adults aged 18-24 experiencing homelessness to take control of their housing situations by providing essential resources and support. As part of our commitment to ending homelessness, we offer a walk-in entry point center that connects individuals to vital services through The Alliance to End Homelessness in the Suburban Cook County. Our program includes financial assistance to prevent eviction and foreclosure, education and advocacy for residents facing housing crises, and money management counseling to help clients navigate their finances effectively. We also provide career coaching to support job readiness and employment opportunities. Additionally, we collaborate with the Greater Chicago Food Depository to assist with SNAP and Medicaid applications and operate a food pantry that serves all residents on a monthly basis. Our compassionate staff is dedicated to treating everyone with respect, transforming crises into opportunities, and ensuring that no one in our community feels alone in their struggle.
