MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in Lake Zurich, IL, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to annually screen all Veterans utilizing VA facilities for obesity and to connect them with tailored weight management solutions that align with their individual needs. We offer a variety of care options, including group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program, which allows for in-home messaging and clinician support as needed. For those who prefer a self-guided approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app provides tools for independent weight management. Additionally, we offer access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who continue to face challenges despite their best efforts. Each facility may present different services, so we encourage Veterans interested in improving their health to reach out to their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to start their journey toward weight management and improved wellness.
