Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program

The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program, located in Lake Zurich, IL, is dedicated to supporting individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes through a comprehensive and free 12-month educational journey. Designed to empower participants, the program offers six informative e-booklets that cater to various aspects of diabetes management, along with a monthly e-newsletter filled with seasonal tips and resources in both English and Spanish. Participants also gain access to local community events, fostering a sense of connection and shared experience. For those who provide their phone number, there’s an opportunity to engage with ADA diabetes experts in the monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A series, where participants can ask questions, learn about the connection between diabetes and heart health, and enjoy giveaways designed to enhance their diabetes management journey.
