Located in Lake Villa, IL, the American Indian Health Service of Chicago (AIHSC) is proud to be the only Urban Indian Health Program in Illinois, offering vital primary healthcare and mental health services tailored to the needs of the American Indian community and other underserved populations. Our mission is rooted in delivering culturally sensitive, quality care that addresses the multi-faceted healthcare needs of individuals at all life stages, emphasizing comprehensive primary care and integrated behavioral health services. We provide an array of essential services, including chronic disease management, women's health services, cancer screenings, vaccinations, anxiety and depression screenings, and specialized care for children, from well-child exams to urgent care. Our commitment extends to ensuring access for the uninsured and underinsured through discounted medications and lab services. We accept most insurance plans and offer a sliding scale for self-pay patients to ensure everyone can receive the care they deserve.
