Step Up Assistance Program is dedicated to empowering families in crisis and fostering mental well-being in Lake Villa, IL. Through our Helpline, we provide essential resources and services to those in need. Our 1:1 Peer Support Chat connects individuals with a facilitator for personalized support over varying durations, while our Step Up Peer Support Groups—offered online and through outreach programs—create a welcoming space for meditation, relaxation exercises, and educational content. We believe in the power of storytelling and peer connections to help participants achieve their goals and improve their mental health. Additionally, our innovative Step Up Training Peer Circle program offers scholarships for Google Career Certificates and facilitates adult learning through mentoring and peer training.
