MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Lake Villa, IL, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through a comprehensive and supportive approach to weight management. Our mission is to provide personalized weight management services to every Veteran accessing care at VA facilities, including annual screenings for obesity and a range of treatment options tailored to individual needs. We offer a variety of effective resources such as group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which allows for convenient in-home management with clinician support. For those who prefer a self-managed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, along with medically supervised weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who continue to face challenges after initial treatment.
