Food Distribution

Located in Lake In The Hills, IL, our Food Distribution pantry is dedicated to alleviating immediate food insecurity by providing emergency food assistance to those in need, including the unemployed, underemployed, elderly, children, individuals with disabilities, and the homeless. We offer a welcoming, supermarket-style environment where clients can choose from a wide assortment of packaged, canned, refrigerated, and frozen foods, utilizing shopping carts to ensure a dignified experience. Our services are designed to supplement short-term needs while helping our clients connect with longer-term social support resources. Residents are welcome to visit us twice a month at times that work best for their schedules, after completing an application and income verification form to assess their food needs. In response to COVID-19, we have adapted our distribution process to prioritize health and safety, including modified sign-in procedures and contactless pick-up. At Food Distribution, we are committed to providing the necessary food resources while fostering a supportive community.
