Youth HYPE Housing Program

At the Youth HYPE Housing Program in La Grange, IL, we believe that everyone deserves a safe and stable place to call home. Our mission is to empower young adults aged 18-24 facing homelessness by providing essential resources and support tailored to their individual needs. Through our Walk-In Entry Point Center, we connect community members to critical services throughout the North Suburban Region, working closely with The Alliance to End Homelessness in Suburban Cook County. We offer a range of services including limited financial assistance for homelessness prevention, education and advocacy for those facing eviction, and money management counseling to help clients navigate their finances effectively. Our dedicated career coaching prepares young adults for employment, giving them the tools and confidence to build a brighter future. Additionally, we provide a monthly food pantry open to all residents and assist with SNAP and Medicaid applications. At Northwest Compass, we treat everyone with dignity and respect, striving to transform moments of crisis into opportunities for growth and stability, and we welcome food donations to support our efforts. All services are offered at no cost to our community.
