Youth HYPE Housing Program

At Northwest Compass' Youth HYPE Housing Program in La Grange, IL, we firmly believe that everyone deserves a safe and secure place to call home. Our mission is to empower young adults ages 18-24 by helping them actively manage their housing situations and achieve sustainable outcomes tailored to their unique needs. Through our Walk-In Entry Point Center, we connect individuals with essential resources and provide support for those facing homelessness or the threat of eviction in the Northwest Suburbs of Cook County. Our services include limited financial assistance for homelessness prevention, education and advocacy against eviction and foreclosure, money management counseling, and career coaching to help clients become job-ready. As a partner of the Greater Chicago Food Depository, we also assist with SNAP and Medicaid applications and offer a food pantry for local residents, emphasizing our commitment to holistic care. We understand the impact of housing instability on personal identity and self-respect, which is why our compassionate staff is dedicated to treating everyone with dignity and respect, transforming crisis into opportunity. All services provided at Northwest Compass are free of charge, and we welcome food donations to support our community further.
