Karen Libman

Karen Libman, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), is committed to assisting children, adolescents, and adults in navigating various challenges in their lives. She specializes in addressing behavioral issues, anxiety, emotional disturbance, and conflictual relationships. Karen collaborates closely with her clients to tackle the complexities arising from life transitions, loss, workplace concerns, school difficulties, and self-confidence issues. With a focus on creating an atmosphere of acceptance and trust, her clients feel safe and comfortable discussing their thoughts and feelings. Karen supports them in achieving awareness, insight, and understanding of their concerns and their origins. Her extensive experience allows her to tailor her therapeutic approaches—such as Imago and play therapy—to meet the individual needs of each client. In addition to her Master of Social Work and post-graduate education in child and adolescent psychotherapy, she continues her studies at the Chicago Psychoanalytic Institute, ensuring she remains at the forefront of therapeutic practices.
