Youth HYPE Housing Program

At Northwest Compass’ Youth HYPE Housing Program in Harvey, IL, we believe that everyone deserves a stable and supportive place to call home. Our mission is to empower young adults aged 18-24 facing homelessness by equipping them with the knowledge and resources necessary to take control of their housing situations. Through our comprehensive Walk-In Entry Point Center, we connect individuals with vital resources and provide tailored support including financial assistance for homelessness prevention, education on eviction rights, and money management counseling. Our dedicated team offers career coaching to help clients become job-ready while also assisting with SNAP and Medicaid applications. Additionally, we host a food pantry available to all residents each month, ensuring that basic needs are met. We work passionately to transform housing crises into opportunities for a brighter future, treating each person with compassion and respect as we strive to make a positive impact in the Northwest Suburbs of Cook County.
