Youth Afterschool Enrichment

Youth Afterschool Enrichment in Harvey, IL, provides a vital support system for children in grades 1-8, with programming designed to foster education and well-being during the fall and spring semesters. Our afterschool hours, from 5:00-8:00 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, offer a welcoming space where students receive tutoring and homework assistance, enjoy a healthy snack and hot dinner, and engage in physical activities in our open gym. In addition to core educational support, we celebrate diversity through opportunities in Mexican folkloric dance, music, art, and other cultural activities that enrich our youth's experiences. Although our in-person programming has been temporarily suspended due to COVID-19, we have pivoted to online tutoring sessions and provide at-home activity kits to keep our youth engaged and supported during this challenging time.
