Youth HYPE Housing Program

At Northwest Compass, we believe that everyone deserves a safe and stable place to call home. Our Youth HYPE Housing Program in Hanover Park, IL empowers young adults aged 18-24 to manage their housing situations effectively, providing vital support through our comprehensive services. We offer a welcoming Walk-In Entry Point Center, connecting individuals to crucial resources in collaboration with The Alliance to End Homelessness in Suburban Cook County. Our program includes limited financial assistance for homeless prevention, educational resources to combat eviction and foreclosure, as well as money management counseling to enhance financial literacy. Dedicated career coaching prepares our clients for job readiness, enabling them to secure employment. Additionally, we assist with SNAP and Medicaid applications and run a monthly food pantry accessible to all residents, ensuring healthy food assistance is within reach. Our compassionate staff is committed to treating everyone with dignity while transforming crises into opportunities. All services are offered free of charge, and we always welcome food donations to support our mission.
