Golden Meals, operated by the Northwestern Illinois Community Action Agency (NICAA), offers vital home-delivered meals to senior citizens aged 60 and over in Freeport, IL, and surrounding areas including Stephenson, Jo Daviess, Carroll, and Whiteside counties. Our compassionate service is designed for those who are home-bound, isolated, or unable to prepare meals themselves. We deliver nutritious hot meals Monday through Thursday, along with a cold tray on Thursday for Friday’s meal and frozen meals for the weekend, ensuring our seniors have access to healthy food every day. While we suggest a donation of $3.00 per meal, we firmly believe that no one should be denied service due to financial constraints.
