Family Support

Located in Freeport, IL, the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (PWSA) is dedicated to providing essential support and resources to individuals diagnosed with Prader-Willi syndrome, along with their families and caregivers. Our Family Support team is committed to offering accurate information and comprehensive assistance right from the moment of diagnosis. We deliver a variety of services including information and support, parent mentoring, nutritional education and meal planning, behavior management support, and guidance with Medicaid applications, insurance coverage, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI). Families seeking assistance can connect with their local PWSA chapter through our online locator or join one of our Facebook Support Groups for additional community support.
