Jennifer Drake, MA, LMHC, is a compassionate counselor dedicated to creating an environment that encourages growth and healing. She understands that struggles with anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma can leave individuals feeling isolated and overwhelmed. With experience working closely with individuals, couples, and families, Jennifer skillfully helps clients navigate life’s challenges. Her background as a family therapist has granted her valuable insight into the needs of families and children within the foster care system, as well as those facing the risk of separation. Moreover, Jennifer's role in hospital emergency rooms provided her with firsthand experience in crisis intervention for individuals experiencing extreme emotional distress. She utilizes a range of counseling models, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Family Systems, tailored to each client's needs. With a special interest in working with families and children with disabilities, Jennifer incorporates Play and Art therapy when engaging with younger clients. She believes that spirituality can be an integral part of the healing journey, and she values all faiths and beliefs, recognizing their significance in daily life. Acknowledging that recovery may seem daunting and isolating, Jennifer applauds those who take the first step.
