Youth HYPE Housing Program

At the Youth HYPE Housing Program in Evanston, IL, we believe that everyone deserves a safe and stable place to call home. Our dedicated team empowers young adults aged 18-24 to take charge of their housing situations and work towards the best outcomes tailored to their unique circumstances. As part of Northwest Compass, we provide critical services including a Walk-In Entry Point Center that connects individuals to essential resources, youth-focused homeless support, and limited financial assistance for homelessness prevention. Our program offers education and advocacy for residents facing eviction or foreclosure, as well as money management counseling and career coaching to equip clients for job readiness and sustainable employment. We also partner with the Greater Chicago Food Depository, assisting with SNAP and Medicaid applications, and operate a food pantry available monthly for all residents in need, emphasizing the importance of nourishment during challenging times.
