Producemobile, operated by Interfaith Action of Evanston, provides vital food assistance to our community by distributing 15-25 pounds of fresh produce to individuals once a month, along with essential household and personal care items. Our program aims to alleviate food insecurity in Evanston, Illinois, and fosters a welcoming environment for all. We serve our community on the second Tuesday of each month from 9:30 to 11:30 AM, where clients can access our services via a walk-up line. We encourage individuals to bring wheeled carts or sturdy bags to help transport their goods. During the current health situation, all distribution takes place outdoors, ensuring the safety of our participants with required masks and accessible seating and restrooms. Abundant free parking is available, and public transportation options are nearby, making it easy for community members to get the support they need.
