Youth HYPE Housing Program

At the Youth HYPE Housing Program in Elmwood Park, IL, we believe that everyone deserves a place to call home. Our mission is to empower young adults, particularly those aged 18-24, to take charge of their housing situations and work towards lasting solutions tailored to their unique needs. In collaboration with The Alliance to End Homelessness in the Suburban Cook County, our Walk-In Entry Point Center serves as a vital resource hub, connecting individuals with essential services. We offer limited financial assistance for homeless prevention, education on eviction and foreclosure issues, and money management counseling to enhance financial literacy. Our dedicated staff is here to support young adults with career coaching to help them become job-ready. We also facilitate the SNAP and Medicaid application processes and operate a monthly food pantry for residents, ensuring access to nutritious food. At Youth HYPE, we treat every client with dignity and respect, turning housing crises into opportunities, all while providing our services at no cost to those in need.
