Step Up Assistance Program in Elmhurst, IL, is dedicated to supporting families in need or crisis through its comprehensive resource helpline. Our 1:1 Peer Support Chat connects individuals with a trained Peer Chat Facilitator for personalized support over 1, 4, or 8 weeks. We also offer a variety of Peer Support Group activities, including meditation, relaxation exercises, and educational video content, all designed to foster a friendly environment for sharing and storytelling. Our mission is to empower individuals by providing essential tools and guidance for achieving personal goals and enhancing mental health communication within families. Additionally, we are proud to offer the Step Up Training Peer Circle, which includes Google Career Certificates Scholarships and Adult Learning opportunities aimed at peer training and mentoring. Although in-person outreach sessions have been adapted due to the pandemic, our commitment to education and community assistance remains steadfast.
