MOVE! Weight Management Program

Located in Elk Grove Village, IL, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans by addressing obesity and promoting healthier lifestyles. Our program aims to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for weight-related concerns and connect them with tailored weight management services that resonate with their unique needs and preferences. Offering a variety of care options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for in-home support, we also provide the MOVE! Coach mobile app for those who prefer an independent approach. For Veterans who require additional assistance, we facilitate access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery after exploring foundational weight management strategies.
