Des Raftery

Des Raftery is a compassionate Clinical Social Worker and Therapist, holding multiple credentials including MPS, MSW, ACHT, and LCSW. With a wealth of experience spanning four decades across Ireland, England, Wales, and Nigeria, Des has devoted his life to guiding individuals and couples through their unique challenges. A graduate of Loyola University in Chicago, he combines his academic knowledge with the invaluable lessons learned from those he has had the privilege to companion in their healing journeys. Des believes that every moment holds the potential for divine magnificence, and he aims to help others attune to these transformative experiences. His mission is to facilitate healing and wholeness, fostering the potential in each individual to become healers in their own right. Utilizing a variety of therapeutic processes including Hypnotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Imago Relational Therapy, Des works with adults and elders, addressing issues such as trauma and PTSD, marital and premarital concerns, and spirituality. He embodies the essence of continuous growth and self-discovery, always learning from the relationships in his life. Des is eager to assist others in navigating their life's challenges with grace and understanding.
