Youth HYPE Housing Program

At the Youth HYPE Housing Program in Elk Grove Village, IL, we believe that everyone deserves a safe place to call home. As part of Northwest Compass, our mission is to empower young adults aged 18-24 who are facing housing challenges by providing the resources and support they need to manage their situations effectively. Our services include a Walk-In Entry Point Center that connects individuals to essential resources, limited financial assistance for homeless prevention, and comprehensive education on financial management and job readiness. We advocate for residents at risk of eviction or foreclosure, offering career coaching and support through the application process for SNAP and Medicaid. Additionally, we operate a welcoming food pantry available monthly to all residents with prior registration. With a focus on respect and compassion, our dedicated team strives to transform housing crises into empowering opportunities, ensuring that our services are accessible and free of charge to all members of the Northwest Suburbs of Cook County.
