Ruth Cohen Kubicek

Ruth Cohen Kubicek is a dedicated Clinical Social Worker and therapist who understands the challenges of life. She offers a safe and nurturing environment where individuals can work through their issues, feel accepted, and receive objective feedback. With a compassionate and non-judgmental approach, Ruth supports her clients as they navigate difficult emotions and thoughts, helping them regroup, heal, and grow. She recognizes that entering therapy takes courage and is committed to validating the experiences of her clients while guiding them on their journey towards increased awareness, problem-solving, and peace. Ruth specializes in addressing mood disorders and utilizes a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Hypnotherapy, Humanistic, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, Interpersonal, and Relational therapies, both for individuals and groups. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and has earned two Master's Degrees in Social Work and Educational Counseling from Washington University. Additionally, she completed the Advanced Psychodynamic Program and is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, as well as a registered yoga teacher. Ruth continually seeks to empower her clients through therapy and is passionate about her work.
