Selma Schimmel Vital Grant is dedicated to providing essential support for individuals in East Saint Louis, IL who are confronting significant financial challenges due to chronic, terminal, or rare health conditions, including cancer, Parkinson’s disease, and Huntington’s disease. Our program delivers critical utility and grocery assistance, ensuring that those impacted can relieve some of their financial burdens during difficult times. While our grants cover either utility costs or grocery needs, we also collaborate with local organizations to connect individuals with additional resources. At Selma Schimmel Vital Grant, we are committed to helping our community navigate these hardships with care and compassion.
