Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program

The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in East Saint Louis, IL, is dedicated to supporting individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes by offering a comprehensive, free, and accessible learning experience over 12 months. The program, available in both English and Spanish, provides a range of valuable resources including six informative e-booklets tailored to meet participants at their current knowledge level post-diagnosis. Participants also benefit from a monthly e-newsletter filled with seasonal tips and resources, alongside updates about local community events. Additionally, enrollees who provide their phone number are invited to join the monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A series, where they can interact with ADA experts, delve into important topics like the connection between diabetes and heart health, and take advantage of giveaways designed to aid their journey in managing diabetes effectively.
