MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Downers Grove, IL, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity and connected to tailored weight management services that align with their individual needs. We offer a variety of options including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! for in-home support. For those who prefer a self-guided approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app provides the tools needed for personal weight management. Additionally, we facilitate access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who require further assistance after engaging with our program. To get started with MOVE!, Veterans can reach out to their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider for guidance and support on their weight loss journey.
