The Food Pantry in Downers Grove, IL, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to those experiencing hunger and food insecurity. We offer a variety of canned goods and groceries designed to meet the basic nutritional needs of individuals and families. Our services allow clients to visit once a week, and if needed, individuals can send a proxy to pick up food on their behalf. Our caring and bilingual staff ensure that everyone receives the support they need. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have adapted our operations to a drive-thru model, where we prepare 'fresh family boxes' filled with enough nutritious food to sustain a family for one week. For the safety of our community, we ask clients to remain in their cars with windows rolled up during the service. Together, we are committed to fighting hunger and supporting those in need in our community.
