Food Assistance

At Food Assistance in Downers Grove, IL, we are dedicated to ensuring that every individual and family has access to nourishing food and essential personal care items. Our mission is to provide emergency food assistance that includes fresh produce, dairy products, frozen meats, and a variety of non-perishable items, alongside personal care supplies and paper products when available. We welcome new clients to join our program by completing a Client Registration Form prior to their first visit. Eligible households can receive support twice a month, and we aim to make the distribution process as smooth as possible—simply follow the line to our food distribution point and wait in your vehicle, where our caring team will come to assist you. We encourage all clients to bring bags or boxes to carry home their supplies. Together, we can ensure that no one in our community goes hungry.
