Youth Afterschool Enrichment

Youth Afterschool Enrichment in Des Plaines, IL, is dedicated to empowering students in grades 1-8 through engaging afterschool programming during the fall and spring semesters. Our enriched environment, open from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, provides vital tutoring and homework assistance along with a healthy snack and a hot dinner. We prioritize physical activity with open gym time and promote wellness through nutrition education. In addition to academics, students can explore cultural expression through Mexican folkloric dance, music, and art classes. While our in-person activities are temporarily suspended, we continue to support our youth with online tutoring through Zoom and at-home activity kits, ensuring they stay connected and engaged during these challenging times.
