Financial Assistance for Families Working in the Restaurant Industry

Located in Des Plaines, IL, CORE is dedicated to supporting food and beverage service employees who are facing financial hardship while caring for children during times of illness or medical emergencies. Our mission is to alleviate stress by providing essential financial assistance for crucial expenses such as rent or mortgage, utilities, medical bills, therapy, and childcare costs. We understand the unique challenges that families in the restaurant industry face, which is why we also assist with funeral costs, hospital-related expenses, and child needs like diapers and formula. CORE is here to offer a helping hand to those in our community; however, former grant recipients can apply for assistance only after a 12-month waiting period and are subject to a lifetime cap of $7,500 on aid. Together, we can help families navigate these difficult times and work towards stability and recovery.
