Amy Ryan

Amy Ryan is a dedicated marriage and family therapist intern who specializes in assisting parents concerned about their child's well-being. Whether a child faces challenges with school, divorce, grief, trauma, or peer relationships, Amy is committed to helping families heal and thrive. She emphasizes strengthening parent-child bonds and includes parents in the treatment process for comprehensive support. Currently enrolled in Play Therapy training, Amy enriches her skills to effectively engage with children and youth. She also finds great fulfillment in working with emerging adults, particularly young women and couples navigating life's myriad transitions. As a trauma-informed therapist, Amy believes that genuine change and growth emerge within a safe, secure relationship. Her deep passion and curiosity for the human experience drive her approach – she recognizes that within pain, joy, conflict, accomplishments, anger, and grief lies a unique story. Together, she and her clients uncover courage, resilience, strength, and an innate capacity to heal. With a creative, curious, and compassionate approach, Amy strives to cultivate a non-judgmental and empathetic space where clients feel accepted. She also proudly supports LGBTQIA+ individuals and values the significance of diverse cultural and religious backgrounds.
