Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

At the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Collinsville, IL, we empower passionate individuals to become impactful advocates for sustainable and equitable food systems. Through our comprehensive program, Fellows receive hands-on training in organic agriculture, community engagement, and food literacy, all aimed at fostering social, environmental, and economic justice in the food domain. Our unique structure ensures that no tuition fees are charged, reinforcing our commitment to accessibility for all participants. Selected Fellows immerse themselves in a six-month experiential learning journey at the Allegheny Farm Campus, where they cultivate diversified crops and collaborate on innovative educational initiatives. Following this foundational experience, they embark on a Community Action Year, applying their skills in partnership with local non-profit organizations to enhance food access, support community gardens, and promote healthy eating. Applications are welcomed until March for the program running from May to October each year, inviting those ready to make a real difference in their communities.
