Step Up Assistance Program (1:1 Peer Chat, Peer Support Groups, Local Resources)

Located in Cicero, IL, the Step Up Assistance Program is dedicated to empowering individuals and families facing challenges through compassionate support and practical resource connections. Our Helpline offers assistance with vital services for those in need or crisis, while our 1:1 Peer Chat feature connects participants with trained facilitators for personalized support over a series of weeks. We also host Peer Support Groups that engage participants in activities such as meditation, relaxation exercises, and educational content, all designed to foster a welcoming environment for sharing stories and tools for recovery. Additionally, our Step Up Training Peer Circles provide opportunities for adult learning and mentoring, including access to valuable scholarships like Google Career Certificates. We strive to create a strong community of mutual support, guiding each other towards achieving personal milestones and enhancing mental wellness together.
