Marilyn Rodriguez

Marilyn Rodriguez is a dedicated bilingual psychotherapist at Latinx Talk Therapy and a proud Latina who works tirelessly to bridge the gap for access to culturally informed mental health services within the Latinx community. With a deep belief in the power of healing, Marilyn understands the importance of providing support as individuals navigate life's challenges. Her empathetic approach, characterized by kindness and passion, creates a safe environment for clients to share their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. With Marilyn, language will not be a barrier, as she fluidly communicates in both English and Spanish, often incorporating Spanglish to enhance connection. Specializing in working with Latinx individuals, Marilyn addresses issues related to transnational trauma, acculturation, migratory grief, and loss, as well as providing crisis intervention. She empowers individuals to build their self-esteem, confidence, and self-love. Marilyn envisions a Latinx community that recognizes and confronts generational and systemic traumas fueled by white supremacy, racism, and oppression. She strongly believes that therapy can foster healing within the community. Through reflection, she supports clients in releasing what no longer serves them and embracing their true desires.
