Chrissy Storey

Chrissy Storey, a licensed professional counselor with an MA, believes that individuals embarking on their healing journeys are demonstrating immense courage. She recognizes the strength it takes to seek support in facing various challenges. Chrissy views her clients as whole beings, often navigating different aspects of themselves, which can be difficult to acknowledge. Through the lens of Internal Family Systems (IFS), she identifies these aspects, sometimes referred to as protectors or exiles. These individuals may experience feelings of anxiety, depression, or struggle with trauma, including racial, sexual, emotional, physical, or spiritual wounds. In their work together, clients will explore and connect with all parts of themselves—those that are easier to access as well as those that might feel hidden away. Chrissy is hopeful about the journey they will undertake and aims to foster an integrated sense of self.
