Youth HYPE Housing Program

In the heart of Chicago Heights, IL, the Youth HYPE Housing Program at Northwest Compass is dedicated to ensuring that every young person aged 18-24 has a place to call home. Our mission is to empower individuals to take charge of their housing situations through education, advocacy, and practical support. We offer a range of services including a welcoming Walk-In Entry Point Center that connects residents with vital resources for homelessness prevention, education on money management, career coaching, and limited financial assistance for those facing eviction or foreclosure. Additionally, our partnership with the Greater Chicago Food Depository allows us to provide essential food assistance through our community food pantry, ensuring that basic needs are met.
