Youth HYPE Housing Program

At the Youth HYPE Housing Program in Chicago Heights, IL, we believe that everyone deserves a stable home. Our comprehensive services empower young adults aged 18-24 facing homelessness by guiding them through the complexities of housing management. We provide a welcoming walk-in entry point that connects individuals to vital resources, as part of our collaboration with The Alliance to End Homelessness in the Suburban Cook County. Our program offers limited financial assistance to prevent homelessness, coupled with education and advocacy to help residents navigate eviction and foreclosure challenges. We also focus on practical skills through money management counseling and career coaching, equipping our clients with the tools they need to regain their independence. Additionally, our partnership with the Greater Chicago Food Depository ensures that we can assist with SNAP and Medicaid applications, while our monthly food pantry serves all local residents in need. At Youth HYPE, our dedicated staff treat every individual with respect and compassion, turning crises into opportunities for a brighter future. We invite all community members to join us in our mission, as we also welcome food donations to further support our programs, which are provided free of charge to those in need.
